The goal of this project was to create a PSA on a subject of our choice.

Process

Although this was a graphic design project, I focused heavily on the visual aspect rather than relying on text. My main focus was to convey the overwhelming fear and dread that anxiety brings. I wanted to evoke a strong emotional response and allow viewers to empathize with those who experience anxiety.

I created photo composites depicting anxiety through visual metaphors such as drowning, feeling trapped, or being overwhelmed. A crumbling effect symbolized my own sense of losing myself, while muted colors reinforced the theme of loss and detachment.

I conducted research and placed the text where it was legible without distracting from the visuals, including advice and awareness messages to inform and support readers.

Result

I gained a deeper understanding of anxiety. The final outcome was rewarding, and I hope it resonates with those who need it.
